  • Gain insight into careers within the construction industry.

  • Identify the various job roles within the environmental sector.

  • Construct a bug hotel and design a bird box.

What’s in the workshop? 

‘Let’s Do Construction’ gives students the unique opportunity to discover career options within both the construction and environmental industries. While enhancing their creative and problem-solving skills students will engage in practical construction activities linked to the environmental sector when constructing a bug hotel and designing a bird box.

What to expect?

During this workshop students can expect to: 

  • Participate in hands-on projects by constructing a bug hotel and designing a bird box.

  • Explore job roles within environmental and construction industry sectors.

  • Cultivate essential skills including listening, creativity and problem-solving.
